What's the weirdest thing anyone on here has ever found? I found something the other day and I haven't the faintest idea 'what it is' or 'what do do with it' but I couldn't resist the temptation of keeping hold of it... It's my 'precious thing' now. It's only small! It's not a ring, or an item of jewellery.. It's just an 'odd thing'... urm.. 'curiouser and curiouser' says Alice!

Tue, May 30, 2006 - 9:26 AMIt appears to be made of STEEL and it's only about 4cms (top to bottom). Rounded... 'looks moulded' like it was a part of something that it's lost. I like it... It's Shiny rather than a part of a machine.... I like it alot! -

The weirdest thing I ever found might be a My Pretty Pony someone had thrown away. It's not a usual small Pretty Pony but a really BIG one about the size of a baby doll. It has a pursed mouth as if it wants to nurse and blinky eyes. I feel very lucky to be her new steward/ human companion.

I am serious!
The physics department at my university moved from one building to another and they dumped tons of equipment in a huge dumpster. I have been scavenging in that one for days.
Everything I couldn't use (too exotic or too vintage) has been auctioned on Ebay, I think I made not less than $5/6K and I still have many things... The cesium has been returned to the lab for proper disposal (probably another dumpster :-) ). -

Wed, June 14, 2006 - 8:29 AMI once found the top to a (lost or broken) exotic perfume bottle. The top was pretty enough to be an ornament on its own, so I made a clay base for it and set the sparkly prize on it. It's gone now, but it was such a nice piece of cut/molded glass that I doubt I'll ever forget it.

He had been drinking (homeless save the car) and the police guessed with the cool night’s exposure was the culprit. They told me it happens all the time. : ( -

Mine may not seem too weird but one time when I was 16 I was out walking in the cold of night in Texas. I walked by a highschool football field. I was very sad & depressed. I sat down on an old board to cry and when I sat down I heard glass clink. On the grond next to the board were 3 ice cold Michelobe beers. It made my day. I just sat there and drank them and pissed in the field and went home. The universe truly does give us what we need. lol -

Sun, August 13, 2006 - 8:27 AMah, I have found so much weird stuff. Once I found an urn when I was working at a thrift store! I thought it was a vase, and turned it upside down, to check the make of the (vase) and dumped someones ashes all over myself!!!!!! ((delightful))
but my recent favorite was 10 photo albums I found in an alley, which completely documented a girls life from toddlerhood in the early 60's to full on rockerism in the late 70's. they are so awesome. she and her friends all had big hair, and rode around in camero's and stuff. I have been making some of them into belt buckles. (I know.....thats pretty creepy eh?) -

I work at an addiction agency and have to search peolple's luggage....weirdest thing I found was a used condom ...why would someone keep that? (recycle, memento, dna, ...?)
