Do you go through periods where there you find nothing as you stroll down the streets but pavement? Novelty is low, and you have but dead leaves and your own shadow to find.
Really, you can't go forcing the gods of synchronicity, but I've been going through a sort of "scavenger's block" it seems.
One of my beliefs is, the higher the rate of coincidence in one's life reflects that they are going in the strongest possible direction.
At my office we've been positioning and re-positioning this little red plastic man who is detachable from his little blue motorcycle. I had found it on my way to work some time ago. The poor thing needs some relief.

better than playing with little plastic men on little motorcycles
it will give you relief from the dry spell ( i refer to it as a desert when i dry ! ) -

Sun, January 15, 2006 - 10:12 AMMy situation is similar to Atom's. Not only don't I walk anywhere. No one here does. Haven't found anything since moving here in 97... I do so miss it...

Re: Dry spells?
Sun, January 15, 2006 - 10:46 AMI agree with Queen Eleanor that there can be a dry spell for finding significant objects. I still walk often, but I don't think I've found anything important while walking since summer of 2002- other than an occaisional rock or stick that interested me. I consider these to be more neutral finds.
However, I feel some of the trash I carried home with me in 2002 is still deepening in significance!! -

Wed, January 18, 2006 - 11:31 AMI haven't been out on trash day in a while. We live near a college and find paintings and lumber all the time.
